Job Summary
KCB Bank Uganda is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst to plan, execute and document testing for technology projects and software changes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Review business requirements to confirm they are complete, precise and testable.
- Develop test strategies, plans, schedules, cases, scripts, test data and automated testing artefacts.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing, including integration, regression, load, performance, security and usability tests.
- Record defects and configuration issues and prepare test acceptance reports.
- Conduct post-deployment sanity and regression testing and support software-process improvement.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant software-testing or quality-assurance experience.
- Practical knowledge of test planning, defect reporting, regression testing and test documentation.
- Strong analytical, collaboration, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
