Job Summary
Kampala Marriott Hotel needs a Landscaper to maintain lawns, gardens, grounds features and irrigation systems to the hotel’s quality and safety standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, flower beds, planters, trees and shrubs through watering, mowing, weeding, pruning and transplanting.
- Install and operate irrigation systems and repair grounds features when required.
- Remove exterior waste and keep equipment clean, fuelled and ready for use.
- Inspect tools and equipment and report defects, hazards, injuries or unsafe conditions.
- Operate authorised utility vehicles and transport equipment, supplies and debris.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- High-school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of related work experience.
- Valid driving licence.
- Physical ability to work outdoors, use landscaping tools and safely move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
