Job Summary
Hima Cement is recruiting a recent chemistry graduate for an intensive laboratory training programme designed to develop high-performing trainees for technical roles.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, operate and help troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Analyse cement, process, competitor and complaint samples using chemistry, physical and mechanical tests.
- Record test results accurately and report deviations or equipment anomalies.
- Apply laboratory safety procedures, use personal protective equipment and handle hazardous chemicals responsibly.
- Support quality targets and take corrective action under the Quality Manager’s supervision.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Chemistry or a closely related field from a recognised institution.
- Must have graduated within the last two to three years.
- Strong analytical thinking, willingness to learn and clear written and verbal communication.
- High safety awareness and ability to work effectively in a demanding team environment.
