Job Summary
True North Consult is recruiting a Store Controller Purchaser to maintain workshop stock availability through purchasing, inventory control and supplier coordination.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and raise timely purchase requests for spare parts and consumables.
- Obtain quotations, coordinate suppliers and follow up deliveries.
- Maintain accurate purchase, issue and inventory records.
- Conduct stock counts and reconcile physical stock against system balances.
- Monitor critical, slow-moving and obsolete items and support supplier evaluation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least three years of stores, procurement or inventory-management experience.
- Automotive, fleet or workshop experience is an advantage.
- Inventory, supplier-management, ERP, Microsoft Office and negotiation skills.
