Job Summary
The UCC Driver will provide safe, reliable and timely transport for staff, guests and cargo while maintaining assigned vehicles and complete trip records.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect the vehicle before trips and report faults promptly.
- Transport authorised passengers and cargo safely.
- Maintain custody of keys, fuel cards, accessories and official property.
- Keep accurate logbooks, fuel records and condition reports.
- Remain available for authorised long-distance and out-of-hours assignments.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum UACE certificate.
- Valid driving licence for the appropriate vehicle classes.
- Defensive-driving certificate; a motor-vehicle-mechanics diploma is an advantage.
- At least five years of professional driving experience.
