Job Summary
The Government of Uganda is recruiting 300 young graduates for structured volunteer placements that provide practical work experience while supporting public and community-service delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support assigned ministry, local-government or partner work plans and daily activities.
- Assist with community mobilisation, field assignments, records, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Apply professional knowledge to practical service-delivery challenges.
- Observe workplace policies, safeguarding requirements and supervisor instructions.
- Prepare activity updates and participate in programme learning and evaluation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Ugandan graduate meeting the programme eligibility requirements on the application portal.
- Suitable for recent graduates seeking their first structured workplace experience.
- Willingness to serve at an assigned placement and work with communities.
- Good communication, teamwork, integrity and basic digital skills.
- Applicants should read the portal instructions carefully before choosing a placement.
