Job Summary
Maisha Meds seeks a Claims Assurance Associate on maternity cover to verify programme claims, identify risk or fraud indicators and protect programme integrity.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify and adjudicate claims for approval, rejection or escalation.
- Identify non-compliant, high-risk or potentially fraudulent claims.
- Maintain accurate verification decisions and audit-ready records.
- Document claims trends, risks and process-improvement recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve claims issues.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Pharmacy, Nursing, Project Management, Customer Service or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant healthcare or health-programme experience.
- Comfort with digital collaboration, CRM or case-management tools.
- Strong analytical ability, integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
