Job Summary
A six-month learning placement offering practical exposure to cash handling, payment processing, record keeping, SAP, grant monitoring and NGO financial reporting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support cashbook maintenance, bank monitoring and cash counts.
- Review expenditure requests, receipts, coding and payment vouchers.
- File and retrieve accounting documents and post transactions in SAP.
- Assist with grantee financial reports, donor compliance and invoice tracking.
- Compile financial-reporting data and support variance and open-item reviews.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies or a related field.
- Coursework, internship or volunteer exposure to finance; INGO exposure is preferred.
- Basic accounting concepts and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork and documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and travel occasionally.
