Job Summary
The officer will support strategic internal and external communication programmes that engage key audiences and advance UNOC’s vision, culture and business objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support annual communications and stakeholder-engagement plans.
- Develop newsletters, intranet content, notices, leadership messages and employee-engagement campaigns.
- Manage corporate website, intranet and social-media content and reporting.
- Monitor media coverage and support press conferences, briefings, interviews and field visits.
- Support photography, videography and multimedia content development.
- Maintain communication-material databases and measure communication-channel performance.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with honours in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, International Relations, Languages and Linguistics, Information Management Systems or a related field.
- At least four years of relevant communications, PR, journalism, media, marketing communications or broadcasting experience.
- Professional certification, postgraduate training or membership of a relevant professional body is an advantage.
- Demonstrated social-media or digital-channel management experience.
- Basic graphic-design and content-creation knowledge.
- Excellent writing, copywriting, organisation, stakeholder-engagement and events-management skills.
