Job Summary
The officer will promote and monitor compliance with external laws, regulations and internal policies to help manage RSM’s regulatory, quality and reputational risks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor operation and documentation of the firm’s System of Quality Management.
- Conduct internal compliance testing and evaluate findings, impact and root causes.
- Monitor remediation of annual inspection findings across service lines.
- Prepare and implement annual Risk and Quality audit plans and periodic reports.
- Support internal inspections and assessment of quality-control and compliance systems.
- Participate in staff training and quarterly monitoring of Risk, Quality, Technical and Training activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Three to four years of relevant risk and quality experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
