Job Summary
The Weighbridge Operator will record and account for loaded trucks entering and leaving Mukwano ICD while maintaining accurate weight and dispatch records.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct vehicles onto the weighbridge and record all entries and exits.
- Operate the scale and maintain accurate material-weight records.
- Prepare daily reports and highlight dispatch or weight discrepancies.
- Reconcile cargo weight against supporting documents.
- Report equipment faults and coordinate periodic calibration.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Higher Diploma in a business-related discipline.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Good numerical, reporting and computer skills.
- Integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
