Job Summary
GrowthAid Uganda is recruiting a Programme Officer to lead livelihoods, market-systems and climate-resilience work and support WASH-linked enterprises.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise, value-chain and market-systems interventions.
- Establish or strengthen VSLAs and community-finance mechanisms.
- Integrate climate adaptation and resilience into livelihoods programming.
- Train women, youth and community groups in enterprise and financial literacy.
- Track results, document learning and contribute to donor reports.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Agribusiness, Development Studies, Environmental or Climate Studies, Social Sciences or a related field.
- At least three years in livelihoods, market-systems development or climate-resilience programming.
- Some exposure to WASH programming is required.
- Strong facilitation, community mobilisation, communication and Microsoft Office skills.
