Job Summary
The Senior MEAL Officer will be seconded to the Ministry of Education and Sports Education Response Plan Secretariat. The role supports refugee-hosting districts, including Kampala Capital City Authority.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for refugee and host-community data inclusion within national education systems.
- Support data architecture, database management, cleaning, analysis, dashboards, reporting, and data protection.
- Work under the IRC Senior MEAL Manager and Ministry of Education and Sports / ERP structures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Advanced skills in data architecture, relational databases, data cleaning, and statistical analysis.
- Advanced Excel and experience with SPSS, STATA, R, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services and/or Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an advantage.
- Knowledge of humanitarian data standards, confidential data management, and Uganda education-sector structures.
