Job Summary
Two drivers are required to operate and maintain Post Buses safely while protecting passengers, mail, luggage and third parties.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate the Post Bus safely on approved routes and schedules.
- Perform routine checks on oil, fuel, tyres, lights and brakes.
- Maintain mileage, fuel, incident and daily bus-return records.
- Protect mail and customer information and assist passengers with special needs.
- Ensure complete ticketing in coordination with the conductor.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security and safe custody.
- Manage professional relationships with brokers, local authorities and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- General education.
- Valid driving permit with the classes stated in the advert: CE, D, D1, DIE and DE.
- Current passenger-bus driver badge issued by the Ministry of Works and Transport or a passenger-bus driver licence from the Transport Licensing Board.
- Defensive-driving certificate from a registered institute.
- Published experience requirement is four years as a passenger-bus driver, including three years driving a passenger bus.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, bus routes, safety procedures, minor repairs, passenger service and time management.

Write Post Bus Driver on the top-right corner of the envelope. Candidates will also be required to present an LC1 Chairperson endorsement letter and three reference letters.
