Job Summary
The Demand Planner will forecast product needs, place purchase orders and replenish Glovo micro-fulfilment centres while improving availability and minimising waste.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Improve forecast accuracy using historical sales, promotions, seasons, events and new-product data.
- Coordinate with category, marketing and operations teams to align forecasts with supply capability.
- Maintain purchasing-tool parameters such as safety stock and holiday settings.
- Create purchase orders and monitor supplier delivery and replenishment.
- Improve supplier performance and report supply-chain KPIs.
- Analyse availability, inventory, turnover, shrinkage and fill rates and implement improvement plans.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain or Operations.
- Two years of relevant supply-chain experience, preferably in demand or supply planning.
- Strong business judgement and practical delivery approach.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and apply critical thinking.
- Proficiency in Google applications.
- Fluency in English.
