Job Details:
Job purpose:
Courier is responsible for the timely, secure, and accurate delivery and collection of documents, parcels, and other items within assigned locations, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Specific Tasks:
- Collect and deliver documents, parcels, and packages within the company and to external locations as assigned.
- Work in coordination with the Sales team to collect customer cheques and submit them to the office.
- Record and maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of all incoming and outgoing documents and packages, ensuring proper acknowledgment for each transaction.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of company documents and items at all times.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet timelines and reduce delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned motorcycle.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
- Assist with administrative duties i.e restocking office supplies.
- Report any incidents, delays, or losses immediately to the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate in Motor vehicle mechanics
- Driving permit Class A
Other Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Should have strong customer service skills
- Should be a team player, highly flexible and able to multitask
- Knowledge of current traffic rules and regulations.
- Good knowledge of local routes and locations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
