About the Role
Onestop Auto is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support day-to-day finance operations, ensure accurate records, and uphold strong internal controls in a fast-moving automotive service environment.
Key Responsibilities
1) Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and dashboards to the management team.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
2) Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
3) Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flow and optimize funding to ensure liquidity and that the company’s financial obligations are met.
- Optimize working capital and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Evaluate funding options; manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
4) Accounting, Cost Control & Optimization
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Analyze and optimize costs and profitability.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency measures.
5) Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Develop and foster training programs to enhance skills.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; or a professional qualification (e.g., Level 3 CPA and above) is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial management, preferably within an FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and tax regulations.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
