Job Details:
The Accounts Assistant will support the Finance Department in managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with hotel financial procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate seeking to start a career in accounting and finance within a professional hospitality environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and supporting documents
- Support the processing of invoices, receipts, and payments in line with financial policies
- Assist in reconciliation of bank statements, supplier accounts, and guest ledgers
- Help in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
- Assist with petty cash management and expense tracking
- Support audit processes by providing required documentation and information
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, hotel accounting standards, and internal controls
- Perform any other finance or administrative duties as assigned by the Finance Manager
