Job Summary
Kweli Capital Uganda Limited is seeking an Investments Officer to lead business development and operations for the Amaka and Ensimbi Unit Trusts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop institutional and retail investment business for the two unit trusts.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, investors and strategic relationships.
- Support client servicing and day-to-day unit-trust operations.
- Use knowledge of Uganda’s securities market and institutional-investor landscape to grow revenue.
- Maintain professional, regulatory-compliant investment and client records.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related field.
- Two to five years’ financial-services experience with a verifiable pipeline or revenue track record.
- Strong knowledge of Uganda’s institutional-investor base, securities market and professional networks.
- Eligibility for CMA Uganda fit-and-proper approval; CFA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
