Job Summary
The coordinator will support the Uganda Refugee Resilience Initiative, working with partners, district local governments, and stakeholders across Terego, Madi-Okollo, Yumbe, Koboko, Obongi, and Moyo.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation, field monitoring, reporting, risk management, and learning for URRI activities.
- Support implementing partners and district local governments with capacity strengthening.
- Coordinate with the Office of the Prime Minister, UNHCR, consortium partners, donors, and district leaders.
- Ensure programming meets donor, quality, gender, environmental, and accountability standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
- At least six years of relevant experience in programme coordination, capacity strengthening, or programme-cycle management.
- Experience with donor-funded projects and multi-partner programmes is desirable.
- Strong reporting, facilitation, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
