Job Summary
The Enrolled Midwives will support safe and quality maternal and newborn services under the direction of qualified healthcare professionals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with antenatal, labour, delivery and postnatal care.
- Monitor mothers and newborns and report abnormalities promptly.
- Provide newborn care and support breastfeeding.
- Educate mothers on maternal and newborn health.
- Maintain maternity records and follow infection-control procedures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Midwifery or equivalent.
- Valid registration and practising licence.
- Relevant maternity experience is an advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork and patient-care skills.
