About the Programme
The Graduate Volunteer component supports fresh graduates to build work-readiness skills through work placement training, coaching, and mentorship. Graduate volunteerism involves unpaid work aimed at gaining employable skills, work experience, professional networks, and exposure to the real work environment.
Key Activities / What Graduate Volunteers Will Do
- Participate in work placement within host organisations (public, private, and civil society).
- Support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives of the host institution.
- Build employability skills through practical experience, coaching, and mentorship.
- Network professionally and improve transition into the labour market.
Minimum Qualifications
-
At least a Certificate, Diploma, Honours Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree (or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must have graduated within the last five years: 2021–2025.
- Age 18–35 years at time of application.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams/stakeholders.
- High integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct; willingness to learn and work professionally.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Zoom, Teams) is an added advantage.
