- The International Crane Foundation (ICF) is registered in Uganda since January 2020, as a branch office of the US headquarters, carrying out activities in Uganda itself, and incorporating regional oversight of ICF’s crane conservation activities in Kenya and Rwanda. As part of the African Crane Conservation Programme (ACCP), ICF aims to have stable wild populations of the four threatened crane species, resident to sub-Saharan African (Wattled, Blue, Grey Crowned and Black Crowned Cranes).
Position
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, committed and detail-orientated person to fill the position of Financial Accountant, who will assume responsibility for the financial management and administration of the ICF Uganda Office. The position will ensure that good governance and due diligence are established as needed, promoted, and adhered to in running a new, organised, compliant and accountable office supporting field programme development and implementation.
Purpose of the Position
The purpose of the position is to effectively manage the financial processes in the ICF Uganda Office and to provide support to the rest of the Finance team and the various projects, as necessary, to ensure the correct recording and reporting of financial matters in both internal use and ICF submissions to donors.
