How to Prepare a Strong Application

  • Establish the required seniority: Create a clear project chronology showing total experience and years spent in planning. State the project type, stage, responsibility and tools used without overstating your role.
  • Prepare a schedule example: Use a sanitised schedule to explain the baseline, critical path, actual progress and a recovery option. Discuss assumptions and how you checked that the proposed recovery was realistic.
  • Report for decisions: Explain how you verified physical progress and challenged unsupported percentages. Prepare a one-page sample stating the main delay, impact, owner and recommended action, supported by evidence.
