Job Summary
Provide safe transport, vehicle care, accurate trip records and practical office support for Evidence Action’s field operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport authorised passengers, documents and cargo safely.
- Maintain mileage, fuel and trip records and weekly work plans.
- Inspect, clean and service vehicles; report faults and accidents.
- Keep transport documentation and safety supplies current.
- Assist with inventory, filing, printing and document delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- UCE; UACE or a diploma is an advantage.
- Valid permit with B and DL classes; DH is an advantage.
- Defensive-driving certificate; mechanics or preventive-maintenance certification is advantageous.
- Four to five years of accident-free driving, preferably with NGOs.
- English communication, local road knowledge and basic Word/Excel.
- Legal authorisation to work in Uganda and flexibility for field travel and out-of-hours work.
