How to Prepare a Strong Application
- Show a reproducible project: Choose a small public or synthetic dataset. Clean duplicates, missing values and inconsistent categories, and include concise code plus a plain-language findings summary.
- Practise the technical task: Time yourself checking an unfamiliar CSV in Python or R. Preserve the original data, document assumptions and explain how each issue could affect farmer registration or payment.
- Strengthen spreadsheet skills: Review pivot tables, lookups and conditional logic. Practise reconciling summary figures to underlying records rather than presenting a chart without validation.
- Answer with evidence: Use the short-answer questions to explain your own work and judgement. State your work eligibility and availability for the four-week Kampala induction.
