How to Prepare a Strong Application
- Show portfolio outcomes: State the loan book and team size you managed, with evidence of arrears reduction, repayments and sustainable growth. Include the reporting period.
- Prepare a credit case: Practise assessing a rural business’s cash flow, existing debt and repayment capacity. Explain how you check security and separate appraisal from approval.
- Build a recovery plan: Use a fictional overdue account to show respectful follow-up, documented commitments and escalation. Explain how you coach an officer whose portfolio quality is declining.
- Make supervisory experience visible: Separate your total financial-services experience from years in a credit leadership role. Keep figures anonymised and combine the requested CV and letter correctly.
