Job Summary
APCA is recruiting a Programme Officer to implement advocacy, coordinate national associations and partnerships, lead learning activities and document programme evidence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support APCA’s advocacy strategy and stakeholder-engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate national-association engagement, partnerships, learning meetings, webinars and training.
- Develop case studies, impact stories, advocacy briefs and other knowledge products.
- Translate research and programme evidence into policy, advocacy and learning materials.
- Contribute to work plans, budgets, concept notes, proposals, reports and donor accountabilities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations, Health Programme Management or a relevant discipline.
- At least four years of relevant experience, including two years in programme development, planning, advocacy, partnerships, communications or knowledge management.
- Health-sector experience in Africa and professional proficiency in both English and French.
- Strong programme planning, monitoring, learning, writing, facilitation and stakeholder-engagement skills.
