Job Details:

Uganda Police Force is welcoming Applications from suitably qualified Ugandan citizens for the positions of Election Special Force Constables (100,000) on a three-month contract to serve with the force.

REMUNERATIONS: UGX 469,000 Per Month

LENGTH OF SERVICE: 3 Months

DUTY STATION: Successful candidates shall work from their respective Districts of residence.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be Ugandan citizens with good conduct, no criminal record, and must possess the following:

  1. Must be a Ugandan citizen with a National Identity Card.
  2. Proven record of volunteerism with the Uganda Police Force (UPF) will be an added advantage.
  3. Must be 18 years and above.
  4. Nationalistic and patriotic.
  5. At least have a Primary Leaving Examinations result slip.
  6. Must be physically fit.
  7. Ready to work long hours and at times under difficult conditions.
  8. Good communication skills.
  9. Ready to undergo a Basic Security Training/Course of one month.
  10. Must be a registered voter in their area of recruitment.
  11. Must not be a serving officer in any of the Forces.
  12. Women are encouraged to apply.

HOW TO APPLY

  • Handwritten applications addressed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) should include:
    • Photocopies of academic documents.
    • National Identity Card.
    • One (01) recent passport-size photograph.
    • Recommendation letters from LCI, LCIII, and GISO (from the respective districts of recruitment).
  • Applications should be delivered to the Police District/Divisional Headquarters no later than 1st November 2025.

NOTE

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews on dates to be communicated.
  • Impersonation or presentation of forged testimonials/documents will lead to arrest and prosecution in courts of law.
