Our client in the logistics, forwarding is looking to fill the position of Business Development Executive for their company. They integrate logistics benchmarking at the world’s most important intersections, where the flow of goods creates an effective link between carriers. Our client's value-added services and distinctive shipping experience offering colludes to a seaming less relaxed flow of goods within supply chains.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Business Development Executive
Reports to:    Country Manager 
Department:    Commercial Station
Duty Station:     Kampala/Field    
PURPOSE
The Business Development Executive, is responsible for designing and implementing business development strategies, conducting various marketing research, discovering, and pursuing new business leads, processing, and presenting competitive proposals and maintaining customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the Business Development Executive helps meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Revenue Growth

  • 50% sales lead conversion per quarter
  • Ensure an acceptable level of profitability on all business development activities.
  • Conducting extensive research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • 3PL business development.
  • Preparing business development strategies.
  • Contribute to the preparation of business development budgets.
  • Creating awareness of the products and services offered by the company.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  • Participating in both internal and external exhibitions and conferences on behalf of the company
  • Supporting the digital marketing team with content and creativity that meet the market needs.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal respective departments for review and mitigation.
  • Fix up meetings with potential clients for feedback.
  • Ensure proper management of marketing costs within the set budget.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
