Job Details:
Assist the driver with loading/off-loading, dispatches and maintaining the sound condition of the vehicle
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Check and verifies items to be loaded;
- Check for general safety of vehicle before its driven;
- Regularly attend and/or participate in mandated instruction/training classes for vehicle operators;
- Oversee the proper loading of items to avoid damages, breakages and compromising of quality;
- Assist the driver by waving directions during parking and take off;
- Check the pressure of the tyres regularly;
- Maintain the water levels in the radiator and engine oil at all times;
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications
- Must have a UCE Certificate
- Must have a Certificate in Vehicle mechanics.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a similar position
