Job Details:

Maintain compliance with set academic standards, rules, regulations and procedures to offer technical guidance to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching and learning in the University                                            

 Key Duties & Responsibilities            

1. 1.    Assist in providing technical support and implementing decisions of the University quality assurance Committee in line with Council Policies;
2. 2.    Participate in developing and implementing academic division annual work plan in line with quality assurance policy;
3. 3.    Participate in implementing and evaluating the effectiveness and impact of teaching and learning in line with quality assurance policy;
4. 4.    Assist in overseeing programs and policies that promote quality and academic excellence in the University;
5. 5.    Assist the Senior Quality Assurance officer as delegated with correspondence personal conduct research and other special assignments;
6. 6.    Inspect assigned facilities matters, such as technology and space needs;
7. 7.    Assist with budget development and revision as required;
8. 8.    Represent Senior Quality Assurance Officer and moderate at special meeting;
9. 9.    Prepare and compile detailed reports as assigned by the Senior Quality Assurance Officer;
10. 10. Coordinate and handle quality assurance matters on behalf of the Senior Quality Assurance Officer in the administrative offices, departmental chairpersons, colleges and staff, with discretion and independent judgments;
11. 11. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 Required Qualifications         

1.                      i.        Master’s Degree in any relevant field from a recognized University.
2.                     ii.        Honours Bachelor's degree in any relevant field from a recognized University.

 Experience     

At least three (3) years relevant work experience

 Skills/Competences  

1. 1.    Ability to work in teams;
2. 2.    Computer literacy;
3. 3.    Interpersonal and communication skills;
4. 4.    Willingness to learn;
5. 5.    Ability to adapt to changes.
